I played this game pre steam release and one of the major things they changed in this release is the ratings algorithm to allow for different styles of gameplay. That style (which is mine) is to build an engine that's really awesome having all the things and then make a game with that new engine as good as I can, rather than gradually increasing the level of game that's being produced.
Game Dev Tycoon Money Cheat:
Gives you 5700000000000000 cash and also 100,000 fans as well, starts off with 3 staff
in the new office.
Navigate to “C:UsersYournameAppDataLocalGame Dev TycoonLocal Storage” and open “file__0.localstorage” with an noteditor and for example this is in the file:
{“name”:”Happy”,”cash”:5700000000000000,”fans”:0,”currentWeek”:0,
“date”: “2013-04-28T11:54:50.870Z”}
If you change the name in one place you must change it in the other places as well. Just look for name, cash or fans and change as needed. Apply Changes and Save File then reupload to save location and reload game and new file with lots of money and fans will appear.
